The
company
Neumayer is one of the leaders in forging technology with more
than 300 dedicated and
highly qualified employees.
We specialise in hot, warm and precision forging, and produce more
than 40,000 metric tons of precision forgings ready for installation
each year, including flanges, valves and complete modules or systems.
Our modern production facilities and our material and process technology
guarantee continuous innovation and efficiency, as well as the highest
possible quality.
Four
generations of experience
1867: Richard Neumayer establishes a forge in Switzerland with two partners
and produces forgings such as anchors and gear blanks.
1880: Neumayer relocates to Gutach in the Black Forest as the sole
proprietor of a forge.
1906: Heinrich Neumayer takes over the firm.
1925: The first drop-forged parts are produced.
1938: Richard Neumayer, the third generation of the family to manage
the company, starts to produce machined parts. The company switches from
open-die forging to drop forging.
1953: Neumayer relocates to Hausach.
1975: In the fourth generation,
under Albert Neumayer, the firm begins industrial-scale operations and
is modernised and expanded to its current size.

By extending our core competencies and working closely with our customers,
we have become a highly respected development partner for components and
modules.
As an innovative company, we are not content to rest on our laurels. Instead,
we constantly face up to the challenges of the future.
Our customers expect us to produce increasingly complex parts with tighter
and tighter tolerances and to develop complete assemblies and modules.
In order to be able to meet the requirements of the marketplace now
and in future, we invest in state-of-the-art production equipment, in research
and development, in quality assurance and in the training of our employees.
