High
quality, high durability
We offer our customers forged parts with weights from 0.5 to 40 kg produced
by hot forging, warm forging, precision forging or a combination of these
processes.
Our highly durable products are used in automobile and machinery production,
valves and pipelines and as wear parts in road construction, mining and tunnelling.
We develop and produce components, modules
and systems which are used, for
example, in vehicle drivetrains, chassis, transmissions, engines
and steering systems. We also produce valves and flanges to DIN/ASA/ANSI
standards in all grades
of stainless steel and special alloys.
Production
Our in-house tool shop produces the tools we need on the basis of our development
and simulation findings.
We use the most advanced toolmaking equipment available. This is an essential
prerequisite for making the high-quality tools we need to withstand the extreme
thermal stress and high forces involved in forging.
Our forgings are produced on a number of production lines with press forces
of up to 31,500 kN. Production features a high degree of automation. On request,
we can also machine the precision forgings, which are already very near to
their final dimensions, to produce parts that are ready for installation.
Assemblies
& modules
For the automobile industry we produce ready-for-installation assemblies
and modules to customer specifications.
To machine and assemble high-grade precision forgings, we use our machining
equipment and specific production units for each customer. The depth of vertical
manufacturing at Neumayer meets all the requirements for high-volume assembly.
Drop
forgings & precision forgings
Obviously, forging itself is the key stage in producing drop and precision
forgings. Controlled cooling from the hot forging temperature and heat treatment
ensure that the steel has precisely the required properties. The heat treatment
processes available include normalising, isothermal annealing and quenching
and tempering, as well as spheroidising.
Flash-free forging, producing parts near to the final dimensions required,
minimises the need for downstream machining stages. This approach and the
resultant raw material savings make our processes highly cost-effective.
Flanges
& valves
In addition to standard flanges in accordance with DIN/ASA/ANSI B 16.5 we
also produce special-purpose flanges. The range includes alloyed, non-alloyed,
corrosion-resistant and acid-resistant flanges and valves.
The blanks are produced and machining is carried out in-house. We also offer
surface treatment for flanges and valves.
Selected standard flanges and valves are available directly from our well
assorted stocks.
